Individual
Therapy
Dr. Glick specializes in providing empirically supported treatments for adolescents and adults. She works to ensure that treatment is focused, supportive and goal directed so that clients optimize their emotional health and functioning. The process is collaborative, warm and tailored to meet each client’s particular goals. Treatment modalities may include: Dialectical-Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness and complimentary approaches.
Dialectical-Behavioral Therapy (DBT) Dr. Glick has been intensively trained in DBT. She participates in a weekly consultation team with other intensively trained DBT clinicians. She provides out-of session skills coaching for her clients. All DBT clients must also participate in a weekly DBT skills training group.
DBT Consultation and Assessment: consultation and assessment can be an excellent option if you are interested in learning more about DBT and whether it could be a good fit for you or someone in your life. Don’t hesitate to reach out if you would like to schedule a consultation.
Please note: all incoming adolescent clients should be aware that Dr. Glick may recommend their parents or caretakers participate in either DBT-informed parent guidance, a parent DBT skills group or family therapy. This is to support their children’s treatment and help reinforce skill acquisition and positive change.
Family Therapy and Couples Therapy
Many families or couples may benefit from therapy during transitions, periods of change or to help solidify healthy shifts in behavior or communication.
DBT Informed Parent Guidance
Dr. Glick provides DBT-Informed parent guidance and family guidance to help focus specifically on implementing these skills into family functioning. Dr. Glick is available for out-of session skills coaching.
